Listening to LifeSpeak Podcasts

Welcome to LifeSpeak’s podcasts. Our podcasts can be downloaded onto your computer and listened to whenever you want using your favourite media player. Or, transfer our podcasts onto your MP3 player to listen to them on the move!

What you need to listen to our podcasts:

All you need is a computer with an internet connection! If you want to listen to a podcast on your computer, you will need a sound card (most newer computers come with one — if you've ever played any music or heard any sound come out of your computer, you have one), media playing software (like Windows Media Player, or iTunes or RealPlayer) and speakers.

If you want to take the podcasts with you, you'll need a portable media player (like an iPod) or another MP3 player. You simply download the podcasts onto your computer and transfer them onto your MP3 player.

How to download the podcasts:

For PC users:

  1. Before you start downloading, you may want to create a folder on your desktop where you can save and store all your LifeSpeak podcasts.
  2. When you are ready to start downloading, click on the link that says “Download Audio [MP3]”. After you click, a box will appear with an option to “save”. Pick a location on your computer's hard drive where you would like to store the file, click on “save” and your computer should start to download the podcast to that location.

For Mac users:

When you are ready to start downloading, click on the link that says “Download Audio [MP3]”. After you click, a box entitled “downloads”will appear showing the podcast downloading.  It will automatically download to your music player folder.  On a Mac, the default music player is itunes.
